No matter your feelings towards My Little Pony and it’s fandom, you have to admit that they’ve covered an awful lot of ground for a preschool show in just over 100 episodes.

Bullying.

Racism and racial stereotyping.

Feminism and gender equality.

Disability and ableism.

Animal rights.

The importance of free expression, being allowed to be yourself both inside and out.

The loss of a loved one.

Tolerance and understanding between different cultures.

Mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety, and the importance of understanding how your actions affect people suffering from them.

And in today’s mid-season finale, self harm.

It’s really quite remarkable.

Reading this post just unleashed a bunch of memories of the previous episodes and how they’ve actually helped me a lot in the real world.

Like, say all you want about the fans, but the show is just so beautiful and it’s so pure :’) Beautiful life lessons.

Y’ALL NEED TO WATCH THIS SHOW PLEASE

same here, it has helped me a lot. I’d probably be a lot less happy and friendly than I am now…

even i have to admit it helped me out of an awful road but it kinda took me to the most embarrassing actions i will ever take in life too so yeah, if you go down that road be careful.
