I thought albatross was another word for “seagull” not for “terror of the fucking sky”

They have the largest wingspan of any bird. If you think they’re large and slightly terrifying, do not look up Argentavis magnificens which had a 5-6 meter wingspan and stood at 1.5-2 meters tall. It’s humerus bone was as long as a man’s entire arm…for reference and skull structure suggests that it ate most of its prey whole rather than tearing off pieces of flesh…while in flight. Do not look this monstrous creature up. I’ll warrant you it will haunt your dreams.

I should mention there’s also an extinct form of sea gull that is also quite large.
