If you’ve seen the trailer with Adam Sandler, you might want to know where it all came from. “Pixels” by Patrick Jean is a 2010 short film that shows the upcoming feature-length adaptation’s premise and animation effects. The idea was picked up by Sandler and director Chris Columbus with the movie due out later this year.
