This is actually really important for people to understand. I need feminism because I used to say things like “I can’t wait until I have a boyfriend cheat on me just so I can slap a guy in the face”. I though it was disgusting and despicable for a man to slap a woman, but if a woman was slapping a man somehow that was okay. Even empowering.
But it’s not. It’s never okay. And I’m really glad that I changed my point of view and got educated, which is why I try to educate others too.
