This is a reminder to not harass, insult or hand death threats to the staff of a show, of any show for that matter, for something you don’t like. Vent your blind rage elsewhere. Art, forums, analysis videos, whatever.
Leave them alone. Doing what they do is just their job. Applying this to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, bear in mind that this is a Hasbro animated series, and thus, one made to sell toys not particularly meant for demographics outside of children.
Instead, praise the fact that the team at Hasbro and DHX has been so supportive of the fandom across all ages and genders, and that while we may not agree on some aspects of how the show has become, it is still one with rational writing, fun plots and a colourful band of characters able to break the boundaries of what a “show to sell toys aimed at little girls” can entail.
Well, until Season 5, I guess.
