Mans up and raids toy store filled with rabid children, sees no sign of advertised “exclusively sold here” MLP Wave 7 Blind Bags, gives up, makes way out of store, but not before grabbing hold of store staff.
Me: Hi, where do you keep your My Little Pony blind bags?
Staff: What?
Me: The blind bags. It’s in the catalogue that came with the papers.
Staff: (whips out said catalogue, identifies what I’m looking for) Hang on, I’ll check. (she goes to where I had already checked and heads towards the front of the store, saying) Let me check the (inventory).
I wait, watching the urchins grab dinosaurs off a trolley while something plays the Inky Dinky jingle, not expecting what happens next.
Staff: (she hands me a box of blind bags, formerly at the point-of-sale counter, knowing it would be inconvenient for a disabled customer to rummage through the box) Here. The cashier counters are crowded.
Me: (puzzled, pawing through the mystery bags) Um, okay. Can I have a moment with this?
Staff: Sure, just leave them (whereever) when you’re done.
Me: I’ll leave it where the ponies are.
She acknowledges and melds back into the crowd. I take my time uncreepily feeling and reading what I eventually realised was the wrong code on the bag, but got a Rainbow Dash for my troubles (I wanted Spitfire), dropping 5 dollars for it and leaving.
Oh yeah. The entire box. I left it on the MLP section at the Tampines Mall ToysRUs. It’s the only box visible in store.
