A boy and his father gets into an accident. The father dies and the boy is barely alive. The boy is rushed to hospital and the surgeon, who looks at the boy, says, “I can’t operate on him. He’s my son.”

The paradox resolves itself when one realises the surgeon, majority of whom are usually male, is actually a woman, the boy’s mother.
