dm29′s Fanart is Magic Year-In-Review

First, thanks so much, everyone, for checking out, posting and appreciating my work. It still get to me how I have so many of you to thank four years coming. Now, take this walk with me as I pick out my most significant or favourite art from my gallery this year.

January: “Twily & Shiny: Monster Trackers”
A shirt design that didn’t qualify because I live outside of the US. The shirt is now on my Teepublic.

February: “I Feel LIke A Princess”
This one rocked derpibooru when it was picked as Featured on Valentines’ Day and split the FlashLight like and dislike factions into two, before crumbling into a comment cesspool 9400 comments strong today.

March: “Twiwight and Fwash” (Created in March, Uploaded July)
One of the later pieces I did in the so-called Fuzznums style that started this year, really a deviation of J.P. Fosgitt’s Pony style. So cute.

April: “Remembering Golden Oak Library”
Twilight’s Treehouse was destroyed in the closing moments of Season 4. As season 5 looked back at the ruins, so did I.

May: “Fun and Games with Dash and Soarin”
My dm29DoesPone channel was launched around May, showcasing exactly how I vector my ponies. This idea of doing videos of my work was actually a response to some of my critics and around the “Traceponies” controversy.

June: “The Secret Cavern”
A multi-pony piece featuring a magical waterfall and springs in the style of the Mirror Pool from Season 4. It’s also a shirt that plays with negative space.

July: “W-what’s Happening?”
One of the weirder commissions I was tasked with this year. Pretty creepy.

August: “Good Morning, Raven”
I played around with what Raven would look like off-duty as Princess Celestia’s Assistant. Long flowy manes.

September: “Café du Mare”
A piece created for a local comic convention. An extended pony cast in an Equestrian coffee house. I just wanted an excuse to vector parfaits.

October: “Hello There, Princess!”
IT’S THE SCARY DOLL FROM HEARTH WARMING’S PAST!! I thought those were pretty creepy from the Xmas in October episode.

November: “MLP Season 5 In A Nutshell”
An endeavour spanning the duration of Season 5 with hiatus that had an element of each episode from the season, significant or not.

December: “A Horse Kinda Holiday”
This piece marks the end of my 25-day Advent Calendar. It was also sent out as holiday postcards to a select bunch of friends. Also on YouTube.
